Course Description
Covid, climate change, war… Where do we find authentic sources for happiness these days? How can we feel real satisfaction in our everyday life and keep connected to this world? During these sessions we will practice tried and tested Buddhist meditations to generate calming and recreative states of mind. We will return home with some precious tools to put into practice easily for keeping a joyful mind every day.
19th May: Appreciating every moment of our precious life
26th May: Acknowledging our sufferings and learning to distantiate yourself from them!
2nd June: Practicing wishing love: incommensurable source of happiness
No special prior knowledge is needed, but requires online booking. Everyone is welcome to attend online or on-site!

Teacher
Laura Gary guides the evening classes. Of French origin, she met Kadampa Buddhism some years ago in Canada and has been practicing Buddhist meditation since. Laura currently lives at Tharpaland Kadampa Meditation Centre outside Berlin and attends the STTP, an international Buddhist teacher training programme.
