  • Kadampa Meditationszentrum Berlin
  • free
  • Gen Ananda, Kelsang Gyudzhin or Kelsang Rabga

Every week we practise one of the 21 meditations of the stages of the path (Lamrim) – a summary of all the essential meditations that form part of the Buddhist path to enlightenment. The basis for this is The New Meditation Handbook by Buddhist meditation master Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

Each session consists of

  • a short reading that introduces the topic of the meditation
  • c. 15 min. : prayers in preparation to prepare for the meditation
  • c. 20 min. : silent meditation.

Afterwards, you can participate in offerings and requests to our Dharma Protector. The purpose of this practice is to remove obstacles on our spiritual path. You can find more information about the Heart Jewel prayer via the link here.

On special occasions, such as the 10. and 25. of each month, we normally practice “Offering to the Spiritual Guide” instead. Am 8. of each month, we normally practice “Liberation from suffering” instead. On those days, there is no Heart Jewel meditation. You can find the exact dates in our calendar online.
